This is the third or fourth book I've read by M. Leighton. She did not disappoint. I love her work, and I will definitely be reading more of her books.
I rated this book 5 stars!
"Live, no regrets!"
"Why do you want me to leave?"
"Because guys like me change girls like you."
"Girls like me?"
"What if I'm not that innocent?"
His lips quirk in a wry grin. "Oh, you're exactly that innocent. I can practically smell it on you. Sweet, pure, untouched. And, if I'm being honest, I'd like nothing better than to taste that on the tip of my tongue."
"Then what's stopping you?"--Sloane and Hemi
What a great story! I read in one sitting--could NOT put this book down. I loved both the H/h (Hemi and Sloane) in this book. At first glance, there's no way these two should have anything to do with the other. They are nothing alike, yet very much alike, and they both have a secret they're not willing to share with the other. And when the secrets are revealed, it will either make or break them.
This is a story of love, mystery, redemption, and heartache. I really hope you'll enjoy this story as much as I did.
